I'm
Bill Cavanagh, owner of C.C. Lowell.
I have been here since I purchased the business in 1989.
That was not my first contact with C.C. Lowell, though; I
first called on the company in 1972 as a salesman of graphic
arts materials. People often ask if I am an artist!! While
I consider myself a good photographer, I still say that I
am not an artist! I do enjoy being around creative people
and find that very rewarding. When I'm not here at the store,
I may be at one of several non-profit organizations which
I volunteer for, or my wife Teri and I may be sailing our
small catboat, riding our road bikes, and relaxing at our
home on Cape Cod. I am incredibly proud of our team here at
C.C. Lowell, especially their dedication to customers. I know
that you will have a great experience when you visit the store.

I'm
the general manager, Kristen Sciascia, and
I have been working here for 10 years (Yes! I even worked
in the OLD store at 500 park ave!). While I don't create as
much "art" as I once did, I still enjoy being part
of the process by helping others with their artistic challenges.
I also enjoy picture framing very much. I look forward to
sunny weekends at our beach getaway with my husband and 2
dogs. The cat stays home.

I'm Nicole and I've been with C.C. Lowell
for about 4 years. I went to school for graphic design and
I have been buying and selling art supplies for over 10 years
now! I started out working in framing for 6 months, then moved
on to purchasing. Now I get to spend money and bring in fun
new stuff for you! I enjoy being outdoors with my husband,
hiking, biking, or just relaxing with a good book on the porch.

I'm
picture framer Jan Johnson. I walked into
C.C. Lowell 3 years ago, fresh out of picture framing school.
Happily, they were looking for a framer! My art education
started 30 years ago in interior design and restarted 10 years
ago with a degree from RISD. I could never settle on one media.
I love working 3 dimensionally and to me, framing is like
making beautiful homes for artworks. After hours, I try to
make a beautiful home for my husband and our 3 dogs Emmett,
Lucja and Macius.
