Sarah's paintings are a series of contemporary portraits of young artists. They are simply composed so that the viewer is forced to focus on the subject and their individual character. With a "Here I am" attitude and a challanging stare they are confrontational yet by using bright colors, texture and informal composition they are approachable and allow the viewer to appreciate each persons uniqueness. Each one of her paintings is a statement about the human condition, young people in America today and even more specifically young artists. Please come witness these powerful portraits for yourself.
